Tenten had moved far from Konoha and hoped that she would remember how to get there.

As they walked Tenten explained why she left Neji and why they haven’t talked in so many years. “Neji… so that’s daddies name huh?” Mitsuki thought for a moment to think of what he may have looked like. And why Tenten had to leave her almost husband. “So you guys were supposed to get married the day you left mommy?” Mitsuki asked.

“Well the leader of the clan Hiashi didn’t like me vary much lets just say” Tenten laughed. “Was Neji handsome?” Mitsuki didn’t use the term daddy. Possibly because of the long absence that her father had in her life. “Yes, your father was vary handsome” Tenten said with a slight giggle. “I even fought over him a few times” she whispered. “Really mommy?”  “Yea, to a point,” Tenten chucked.

“Did he ever have to fight over you?” Mitsuki asked wide-eyed. “Yea… against many people actually” Tenten thought.

“Like whom?” she asked. “Well there was a boy named Naruto who only liked me for a few weeks” Tenten said. “What did Naruto look like?” Tenten smiled. “He was a real loser that Naruto. Actually, his old nickname was Narutard! He would always say that he would become Hokage” Tenten laughed seeing the confusion in her daughters face. “The Hokage is the lead ninja in the leaf village. And he would always say “believe it!” and do you know how annoying that got?” Mitsuki laughed at her mother’s expression.

“Is that it?” Mitsuki asked. “Far from it. There was also a boy named Shino. He… well he liked bugs” Tenten didn’t exactly want to go into a long story about the Abureme clan right now. “That’s a cute name” Mitsuki smiled as her mother described him.

“Wow mommy” “That’s not it!” Tenten sighed thinking of Sasuke. “There was also a boy who nearly rivaled Neji’s looks. But not his love or his talent. Sasuke was the only survivor of the Uchiha clan. But is hair looked like a cockatoo’s and it would always make me laugh whenever I saw it. Your father hated Sasuke so much after a while of seeing him flirt with me” Mitsuki laughed so hard tears were streaming down her cheeks from picturing this Sasuke.

Tenten thought for a moment thinking if there was anyone else…. “Oh yea…. Lee” Tenten cringed. “Who was lee?” “Lee was a boy who used to like me a while ago but when I started to go out with Neji he stopped liking me and started to fall in love with Sakura. He was such a loser. But he was the loser who would grow on you. You know?” Tenten paused. “So he’s kinda like Aoi?” Mitsuki covered her mouth quickly.

“Who’s Aoi?” Tenten asked. “He is so awesome! …. But I think he’s gay” Mitsuki said. “Don’t worry so was Sasuke! Though he wouldn’t admit it,” Mitsuki laughed and they kept walking.

It had been an hour when Tenten finally saw a rickshaw pass by. “Hey!! Over here!!” Tenten noticed the woman driving had a sand head protector and blond hair. “Temari!!!” the rickshaw stopped suddenly and pulled back. “Hey you! How do you know my name?” Temari shouted. “Well… you beat me in the Chunine exams like…. 19 years ago. And your Gaara’s older sister…. And you went out with lazy Shikamaru” Tenten smirked.

“Wait. Are you Tenten? I haven’t seen you since you skipped town 15 years ago!!” Temari yelled. “Well you know the reason I left right?” “no! no one told us!” she yelled.

Tenten moved back and showed Temari her daughter Mitsuki. “For my daughter’s sake” Tenten smiled. “ Well I’ll be damned! Come on in!” she cleared space for there luggage and for them. “Thank you” Mitsuki said quietly.

“Are you headed to Konoha?” she asked. “Yea! How’d you know?” Tenten asked. “Because you’re already on your way” “right!” Tenten said laughing.

About 10 minutes into the ride they passed a cemetery and Tenten saw a grave stone marked “Hizashi.”  “I’ll have to visit Hizashi’s grave later” Tenten noted. “So Temari, are you and Shikamaru still going out?” Tenten asked. “Not really. We’ve been married for about 9 years now” Temari smiled. There was a long pause and Mitsuki spoke up. “Temari, did you know my father?” “Who? Neji? Of course! Who didn’t?” she said smiling. “So your…. 15 I’m guessing” “yea!” Mitsuki smiled.

“Hey Tenten were entering the Hidden Mist right now. Grab Mitsuki” “I thought this place shaped up after team 7 left” Tenten said confused. “NO. It only got worse. With Gauto gone they had no pay so people went on riots. And without Zabuza and Haku people still feared for there lives that the Demon of the snow would return from the afterlife. This place has gone to the dogs” she added. “So do you have to travel here a lot?” Mitsuki asked. “Yea. Its becoming a real drag” “why don’t you just bring Shikamaru along for comfort then?” Tenten asked.

“He’s with the twins all the time” Temari smiled. “You weren’t the only one to have a kid. I have two seven year olds. Kiily and Mitzutomi. I hope they turn out to be as beautiful and you’re Mitsuki” Temari smiled.
